Hypnotherapy for Children
The use of imagination is one reason hypnotherapy works so well with children. They are able to get right into it and the tools we use as therapists make the process for children really fun. Most of the time, the exercises are so creative that your child won’t even be aware that they are making lasting positive changes within their unconscious.
Children tend to have very rapid success with hypnotherapy, often responding far quicker than adults would. As mentioned, their active imaginations helps with this and they are more adaptable due to the fact that they have had far fewer life experiences.
It can help your child with so many things including anxiety, concentration, exam performance, nail biting, nocturnal enuresis (bedwetting), overcoming fears, confidence building and sports performance. The majority of the time, the children I’ve worked with prefer to have their parents close by during the session and that works really well.
